Mitsunari Ishida was one of Hideyoshi Toyotomi's retainers. Hideyoshi adopted Mitsunari when Hideyoshi was still a retainer of Nobunaga Oda.


Mitsunari Ishida was one of Hideyoshi Toyotomi's ablest generals who first attracted his master through his skills at the tea ceremony. He owned the caste of Sawayama, and is now known to history for being the loser of Sekigahara.[1]
